Marzi is a memoir of growing up in communist Poland, with its hardships and political unrest. Delhi Calm by Vishwajyoti Ghosh; HarperCollins India; 2010. I found it very useful – it’s another of those things which teaches a distinction between subjective and objective assessment of my work. For the most part, I was able to obtain the titles I placed holds on, however, I did notice a trend in my search. When inevitably confronted by a hysteric Pilgrim-fan - they are legion in Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood - I’d politely shy away from the subject and explain I was really behind on my reading.

It's from the 90's but this is still a valid comic and very timely. Before air conditioning, handheld fans were a necessity.

God only knows... [review of 'The Imp' #2 by Dan Raeburn on Jack Chick's work]. If you’ve never picked up a comic or graphic novel before then I suggest starting with graphic novels because you don’t need to worry about established universes that have existed for years and are constantly changing. The first Comiket had an estimated 600 attendees and has since swelled in size to an estimated 35,000 sellers and 500,000 fans attending over three days at the gatherings held twice a year at the 60-acre Tokyo Big Sight convention center.
